A lighting masterclass with Stuart Wood FBIPP FMPA
The September Workshop with the Master Photographers Association, West Midlands Region.
One of the things that I love about being involved in our trade association, the Master Photographers Association, is the variety of photographers you get to learn from and become friends with, from car photographers to fashion photographers.
Stuart Wood is a portrait photographer with a difference, most of his work now is for Film and Television. A niche which he has carefully carved for himself over the past decade.
An epic location was chosen for today’s workshop, a venue used for many a film and tv production, the historic Guys Cliffe Hall near Leamington Spa.
Attracting photographers from across the country, this is one of the few training days that Stuart has held in the past few years, so members were in for a treat.
As a Fellow of the Master Photographers Association, Stuart is at the top of the photography game. Having worked as a portrait photographer for many years, Stuart gave our trainees a great day of training covering posing, lighting both with natural light and studio lighting, how to use reflectors and how to choose your backgrounds and build your images.
