What’s great about Binton Woods, Puttenham?

A quiet spot away from the busier neighbour of Puttenham Common, Binton Woods is a delightful woodland stroll.

Binton Woods is a small area of managed woodlands that form part of the Hampton Estate, with timber stocks managed through the seasons.

The woodland boundaries meet the local golf course and there is a variable terrain, so we’d recommend some sturdy boots.

Where is Binton Woods, Puttenham?

Binton Woods and Puttenham Common are just 10 minutes from Aldershot, 15 minutes from Farnham, Hampshire and 25 minutes from Guildford, Surrey.

The woodland backs on to the Sands Golf Course and is a mixed terrain, so sturdy boots are recommended.

There is a small car park for around 10 cars and free parking.

There are no height restrictions.

What to expect..

After you’ve selected your gift experience or session, we will be in touch to get some information about your dog, your home and the style of pictures you would love on the walls.
You will then receive an information pack to help you get the best from the session. If your dog is a breed that needs grooming, it’s best to do this a few days in advance and give the coat time to settle with just a tidy or brush the day of the shoot.
On the day, we’ll meet at the car park. You will want to bring your dogs favourite toy, or special treats, we will also have a bag of goodies to keep them motivated.

5. We will enjoy a relaxed and fun dog walk at a pace that suits your dog. Ensure you wear some sturdy shoes or boots, depending on how far we walk and the weather, we could be out for upto 2 hours.

6. We will start with some traditional sat portraits, then play some games, chase a ball or frisbee, then as we come toward the end of the session we’ll finish with a few more of those signature portraits.

7. You will be invited back to the Studio, normally within 2 weeks of your session to view your images, see samples of our handmade products and place your order.

Facts about Binton Woods

The owner of Littleworth Clump (now Squirrel Hill) which forms part of Binton Woods, had a Chicken House designed by Architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1889. The design can still be seen today.
