Chertsey Common is a small enclosed area at Longcross perfect for dog walkers and one of the quieter locations that we visit. A beautiful area of meadows with easy access to the road network.
The village of Longcross is nestled inside the large area of common land and green belts close to the M3 and M25. Known for the military establishments at Longcross and the film studios at Longcross, the whole area is set to become a ‘Garden Village’.
With all this development going on, it’s important that the countryside is protected and areas are designated for dog walking and other recreation. The Thames Basin Heaths Partnerships help raise awareness of dog friendly areas and this site is managed with their help.
Chertsey Common is located in Longcross, Chertsey. Perfect for dog owners in Lyne, Ottershaw, Chertsey, Addlestone and New Haw.
There is easy access to the M3 and M25 for those travelling from Bagshot, Camberley, Twickenham and further afield.

Free car parking is provided. There is however a height restriction.
Hard surfaced walks are provided for those with limited mobility.
The first meadow is fenced perfect for puppy’s first venture off lead.
There are no cafe or toilet facilities located at this venue.

5. We will enjoy a relaxed and fun dog walk at a pace that suits your dog. Ensure you wear some sturdy shoes or boots, depending on how far we walk and the weather, we could be out for upto 2 hours.
6. We will start with some traditional sat portraits, then play some games, chase a ball or frisbee, then as we come toward the end of the session we’ll finish with a few more of those signature portraits.
7. You will be invited back to the Studio, normally within 2 weeks of your session to view your images, see samples of our handmade products and place your order.
